Rosie Martin
Rosie Martin holds a Gold Medal from the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) for her
botanical watercolour painting and has over 20 years experience of teaching. Her
clients have included David Bowie, Sir Anthony Caro, Christian Dior and Jean Muir.
She was elected to membership of the Society of Botanical Artists and many of her
students have gone on to win RHS medals in botanical art.

Meriel Thurstan
Chairman of the South West Society of Botanical Artists, elected to the Society
of Floral Painters, Meriel was the Founder Secretary of the Eden Project Florilegium
Society, providing a crucial and enduring archive for the Eden Trust.
She is passionate about enabling others to discover the joys of botanical illustration,
having set up and run the annual botanical art exhibition for the Cornwall Garden
Society's spring show.

Rosie and Meriel are co-authors and principal illustrators of the Botanical Illustration
Course with the Eden Project which was voted Practical Art Book of the Year 2007.
Their courses and holidays are highly enjoyable, enabling everyone to progress at
their own personal speed, regardless of previous experience. Working in tandem means
that they are able to devote twice as much one-to-one time to their guests.
