Kate originally trained as a sculptor and as a theatre designer. A full time painter,
her particular passion is working directly from life, be it from the figure or from
her local landscape, the Lake District.
She tutors regularly on private courses, demonstrates at art societies and works
as an artist in residence in local schools.
Kate's work is held in private collections both here and abroad and she has exhibited
at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London for the Society of Women's Artists and
the Royal Birmingham Society of Arts.
