After studying Art and Design in Surrey and a guest scholarship to the Royal Academy
schools, Jenny trained in medical illustration before turning freelance as a medical
artist and working on scientific illustration, including a series of dinosaur books
for children.
In 2000 she returned to the freedom of fine art, developed adult education courses
and now exhibits in oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastels. Jenny is fascinated by
form and colour in landscape and the human figure and their interaction with light.
Her work and teaching is based on a sound knowledge of drawing as well as learning
observational skills.
Her holidays will be based on developing the excitement of sketchbook studies in
pen and wash together with sessions on tone, colour, composition, perspective and
figure. An enthusiastic and inspiring tutor for all levels of ability, she provides
the opportunity to learn and develop in a friendly atmosphere.
