Botanical painting holiday

Grazalema Natural Park boasts the highest concentration of fauna in Spain. We won't have time to paint them all, but it’s a wonderful place to start.

Each day we will walk along the track or lane from the hotel and select our subject matter. Then it’s back to the hotel terrace to start painting.

Rosie and Meriel will guide you in the techniques of botanical painting and help in your selection of flowers. They will give confidence to the novice botanical painter and inspiration to the more experienced.

Our hotel looks straight out across the Park towards the mountains, and throughout the day we will savour the view while we paint our finds.

During the same week, one of our flower walking holidays will be running from the same hotel. Not only will this add interest to the evening camaraderie, but guests are welcome to join the walkers for the odd day if they wish. The walks are up to six miles per day.
