Painting holiday

Sunday - Arrival day
Leaving Marrakech we arrive in Taroudant in time for a quiet wander around the gardens before dinner.

Monday
We spend the morning in the hotel gardens before walking to the main square for lunch. The afternoon is free but there will be a further tutorial before dinner.

Tuesday
We start the day with a guided tour of the souk and Berber market, stopping briefly for sketches. We then spend the afternoon based at one of the cafés capturing images of people and city life in sketches.

Wednesday and Friday
We spend the day in and around a cluster of three small villages in the foothills of the Atlas mountains. The day includes a trip round the village pottery and lunch provided by the villagers.

Thursday - free day
You can visit the coastal town of Agadir, but bartering in Taroudant market or relaxing in the gardens are probably better options!

Saturday
We spend the morning in the gardens reviewing our week before walking into town for lunch and an afternoon of sketching.

Sunday - departure day
We depart for Marrakech airport after an early breakfast.
