Essaouira and Marrakech

Morocco offers an explosion of exotic colours, sounds, aromas and flavours. Medinas bursting with activity, the air filled with the fragrant cooking of local delicacies, drums, spices, shoeshine men, snake charmers, acrobats and everything from carpets to camels being traded at top volume.

We are sure that you will not lack inspiration in either of our two bases in Morocco! We spend the first five nights in the peaceful fortified port of Essaouira. Its harbour, full of bright blue boats and views far across the Atlantic, is the perfect place to unwind and soak up the atmosphere. The final two nights are spent in Marrakech with an option to stay on for additional nights.

Ríad Mímouna - Essaouira A very beautiful riad which sits directly above old ramparts, on which the great rolling waves break at the end of their Atlantic journey. Stepping in from the excitement of the medina outside, you enter a calm and exotic world with beautiful decoration. There are wonderful breakfasts and luscious lunches - it's well worth paying for a seaview here!
