Kasbahs of the South Tour

Tour of the South
Tour of the South

This touring holiday in along the edge of the desert is both a new location and also a new style of holiday. The landscapes here are so vivid, colourful and full of surprises that we believe they are best experienced as a journey.

We have designed these new holidays, to show these magnificent landscapes and at the same time to enable you to experience staying off the beaten track in very different locations. These include the fabled Ait Ben Haddou, the setting for such films as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Here you get a glimpse of a traditional Moroccan village lying at the foot of the snow-capped Atlas mountain chain. Established in the 11th century, it served as a major stop for camel caravans carrying salt south across the Sahara and returning with ivory and gold.
